The first salary

My first gross salary as an assistant teacher at Ruhiyyih School, Jorebunglow, Darjeeling was Rs. 1492/-. After deducting Rs. 12/- Professional Tax, Rs. 39/- E.P.F. and Rs. 6/- F.P.F., I got Rs. 1435/- in hand on 11.04.1996.
